Emilio Pucci Women

Emilio Pucci was a fashion designer born in Naples, Italy. Emilio Pucci got his first start at designing in college by designing the team’s ski uniforms. Emilio Pucci fabric would consist of bright and bold patterns and colors that did not go together. These bold designs were his signature clothing. The pieces may have been “hard on the eyes” at first, but became quite popular.

He then broadened his Emilio Pucci clothing line to Emilio Pucci dresses, which were wrinkle-free silk print dresses. The knowledge of fashion + Emilio Pucci ideas is what brought about clothing such as the capris, which are once again popular many years later. He matched these up with printed silk shirts and colorful knit shirts. This coming right after WWII, the bright colors were a welcome change and people loved the new designs. Many of them are still with us today.

Emilio Pucci clothing boutiques are all over the world and they, along with the many department stores, carry a large line of women’s clothing and some men’s accessories as well. They still carry a large choice of Emilio’s original bold and splashy colors and designs. He was nicknamed the “Prince of Prints”. He believed in casualness but not careless as was evident in the fine details of all his Emilio Pucci clothing.

An Emilio Pucci Signature Fabric Purple Leather Handbag Bag is available in some of his boutiques. It is vivid in color with a multicolor design of purple, yellow, red and blue. The bag is made of fabric and durable leather. Another stunning piece of Pucci is his Emilio Pucci women’s rubber waterproof rubber boots. These boots have every color imaginable in them and can be purchased for over $150 at many of his locations. Many of Emilio Pucci women’s shoes are a variety of colors all on one shoe, as was his signature.

Saks Fifth Avenue sells a line of men’s jackets lined with Pucci printed fabric. One has only to look at a design to recognize it as Emilio Pucci fabric.

In honor of Emilio Pucci’s 60th birthday, they have created Emilio Pucci Collectibles, which are all hallmarks to his design style. An exclusive line of handbags is a large part of the collectibles. Many of these were made in the 60s and have been recreated for the celebrations and Collectible series. Emilio Pucci teamed up with pen maker Omas and they have created their own line of pens in the typical Emilio Pucci bold design.

There is no doubt that to dress like an Emilio Pucci women means to dress in style with a color and flair known to few.
